Gilbere Forte – The Awakening (Video)

Gilbere Forte

After signing to Epic Records back in March, Gilbere drops his latest video, which also serves as a trailer for his upcoming mixtape. Spitting fire, this track is starting to get that feeling that his mixtape Pray is gonna be one of those mixtapes everyone looks forward to, just like his previous mixtape Eyes of Veritas. You don’t have to wait long because Pray will be dropping May 15th.

While everyone seems to drop music that you can party too, this is a mix for one of those days where you just wanna chill out instead.

Dzeko & Torres – Hurricane Ft. Sarah Mcleod

Hurricane

Toronto’s own Dzeko & Torres are definitely in the midst of making 2013 their year. Having already released a collar with standout DJ/Producer Chuckie, that is creeping it’s way up the charts, their next single Hurricane is sure to take things to a new level. Stepping away from a darker, grittier sound, Hurricane gives a smooth progressive house sound that has already been getting support from names like David Guetta. The track officially gets released tomorrow for download but here’s the preview stream.

Disclosure – You & Me Ft. Eliza Doolittle (Video)

You & Me

Eliza Doolittle has made a name for herself in the UK, and a bit in North America, for her brand of catchy, folk-pop songs. Disclosure gets her stepping away from that sound for an electronic love song, who’s video talks about the ups and downs of a relationship. The lyrics become relevant to the video as Eliza sings “home is where the heart is”, while the couple struggles with travelling, currency conversions and budgets.

CharlieRED – Could Be (Video)

CharlieRED

I’m a little late on putting out this video from The Remix Project’s international family, CharlieRED. Rocki Evans & Cobaine Ivory will be coming through Toronto on March 3rd for a performance opening up for Melanie Fiona’s first headlining show in her hometown (which you can be I’ll be there, hopefully shooting). The seductive single, off their debut album Religion, shows their views on love and confusion, while taking missteps along the way that lead to the realization of being alone. Head over to iTunes and pick up their album, which is out now.

Iggy Azalea – Work (Stripped) (Video)

Iggy Azalea

Iggy teams up with VEVO LIFT UK to drop a stripped down version of her latest single like you’ve never heard Iggy before. The stripped down version of Work gives a different feel for the track and gives a more sophisticated look for Iggy, while still keeping with the feel of the song. For all the guys who like her lap dance in the original video, Iggy Azalea DEFINITELY works that dress she’s in.
