While everyone seems to drop music that you can party too, this is a mix for one of those days where you just wanna chill out instead.
Toronto’s own Dzeko & Torres are definitely in the midst of making 2013 their year. Having already released a collar with standout DJ/Producer Chuckie, that is creeping it’s way up the charts, their next single Hurricane is sure to take things to a new level. Stepping away from a darker, grittier sound, Hurricane gives a smooth progressive house sound that has already been getting support from names like David Guetta. Eliza Doolittle has made a name for herself in the UK, and a bit in North America, for her brand of catchy, folk-pop songs. Disclosure gets her stepping away from that sound for an electronic love song, who’s video talks about the ups and downs of a relationship. The lyrics become relevant to the video as Eliza sings “home is where the heart is”, while the couple struggles with travelling, currency conversions and budgets.
While out on their Asia tour in Tokyo, The Airplane Boys filmed this all things Japan inspired music video. Brave New World is out now and is a dope mixtape if you haven’t already got it.
