Krewella – Troll Mix 3: Makeout Edition

Troll Mix 3

With less than an hour until Valentines Day, the overtly sexual Krewella had to put out a Makeout Edition of their Troll Mix series. I wouldn’t really consider this make out music, but it is a slower tempo than the other mixes they’ve put out. It also has a little bit of an airy feel in some sections, with soft vocals focusing on love. Hit the jump for the track list.

DJ Jazzy Jeff – LRG & Complex Present: Life Colors

Unfortunately, I don’t have a track list for this mixtape, but how can you really go wrong with over 40 songs featuring the likes of Kanye West, Jay-Z, Dr. Dre, Santigold, Slum Village, J Cole, the Pharcyde, and more. Iconic deejay DJ Jazzy Jeff, blends old with new throwing together tracks like fun.’s We Are Young, with Kanye’s Mercy, with Bel Biv Devoe’s Poison.

Chuckie – Live At Tomorrowland 2012

Chuckie has really been bigging up Toronto’s own Dzeko & Torres since they remixed his track Who’s Ready To Jump. For Tomorrowland, a HUGE 3 day EDM festival in Belgium, he showed off a huge variety of music in a short period by mashing tracks together from artists like Tiesto, Kaskade, Calvin Harris, Justice, Run DMC, and Linkin Park just to name a few. I’m not sure if this was his Saturday mid-afternoon set or Sunday night set but either case the set gives fans a huge boost. Hit the jump for the set list and download link.

Clinton Sparks – My Awesome Mixtape 3

I gotta hand it to Clinton, he definitely puts it in when it comes to his music and work ethic. For the last little while he’s been putting out 1 song/remix a week and all have been fire. Not only that, but after having met him when he was in Toronto a little while back and getting to learn about his life/how he made it in the industry, the man truly puts in work. From travelling around the north east US trying to kick start living the life he now lives, to flying across the country so he can see his son in the morning, Clinton has definitely paid his dues and is one of the most humble people I’ve ever met (especially given his status).

Lining up the essential mix this week is highlights from the festival, in particular sets from David Guetta and Deadmau5 that were definite crowd pleasers. Dada Life – June 2012 Mix

It’s that time of the month again, the time when DJs start to put out all mixes for all their monthly series. The first one of June comes from Swedish DJ/production duo Dada Life. This heavy electro mix features Dada Life‘s remix of Justin Bieber’s Boyfriend, as well as several hits from some of their friends. This mix gives more of a festival feel than a mix for the club dance floor with some big room house sounds.
