Donald Glover can act, as can be seen in his 30 Rock appearances as well as in Community. But for his Fire Fly video, Donald decided to step away from the camera and let the video speak for itself without him in it. With the feel of a 90s action movie, the video has some minor resemblances to the track but it feels minimal and a little out of place with the music.
