The homie Ian Kamau, who’s spent the last couple months out in Africa, dropped this video referencing the Billie Holiday track Strange Fruit, while showing a dedication to those who have lost love ones to violence. Even despite being on the other side of the globe, Ian has kept up with recent events that have plagued the city at times this summer. Over on his own site, Ian made a great post about society, value, and the whole idea behind Black Bodies that speaks more about it than I can ever say.
