Shot on location in the Netherlands last year, the previously unreleased, and thankfully unearthed video treatment for Raekwon’s “Scroll” sees the light of day thanks to LRG. Filmed during a nighttime excursion, the visuals find the Chef acting as a dangerous American hitman abroad – picking off targets under the cover of darkness. Keep an eye out for many more unreleased gems from LRG dropping in the near future.

Seriously speaking if you ever have a chance to sit down with Raekwon, just listen to the man speak about his experiences. It’s rare to see a man who’s done as much as him be as humble as he is. He stopped by The Remix Project last month and gave a talk about his life and industry experiences, and afterwards he stuck around for an extra hour and a half on his own time, making sure to not only talk with everybody, but also to try and connect and get people’s contact info. It was amazing to be able to see a man with such influence genuinely care about wanting to help those on the come up. I can’t wait for my next encounter with him/Ice Water Canada (maybe this weekend at ManifesTO?). Anyways enough of my rambling and on to the video.
