Justin Bieber – As Long As You Love Me Ft. Big Sean (Video)

I’m definitely liking the more mature sound Justin has come up with lately. It’s much more suitable for future success, and has kind of brought me into being a bit of a fan of his (although I’d never see him in concert of anything). Justin’s finally coming into his own as a real possibility of being the next Usher/Justin Timberlake of a more mature, urban pop/rnb sound.

Justin Bieber – All Around The World Ft. Ludacris

While I’m definitely not a Justin Bieber fan, I can definitely respect what he’s doing (at least when he’s not rapping). All Around The World gives off a more mature, club vibe from Justin and keeps him off trying to rap. Could it go number 1 single? Quite possibly with the legions of Bieber fans out there, and it’s gonna be Ludacris who’s gonna be taking it to the bank. I don’t know why he’s really on the track other than to just bank some money. Anyways you can grab the track on iTunes right now, the album drops June 19th.

Justin Bieber – Boyfriend (Video)

I’ll say this track has kind of grown on me…but from my first listen until now, and in the future, I will always believe that Justin should stick to singing. From a professional side of this he cannot measure up with even mediocre at best rappers, and using words like “swaggy”, along with the use of flows that were made popular 7 years by other artists it just takes more away from his credibility. Meanwhile, on the singing side of things is where he really shines, he truly could build himself into the next guy to bring sexy back, not just sticking to a preteen/young teen fanbase. But in order to do that he has to drop the whole childish dream of rapping. The video is a good way of showing his maturity starting to show, now hopefully the music will grow with it.

Eliza Doolittle The Covers

If you don’t know already you should probably know I’m a diehard Eliza Doolittle fan. It all started when I first heard Jamie xx’s remix of her track Money Box (see here). From there I was captivated into hearing more. Not only do I find her to be super talented, but she’s also got a unique style (musically and fashion wise). Really now, how can I hate on a beautiful woman who loves her Nikes? I’m hoping that someday I’ll be able to meet her in person (Simon pull this through for me buddy haha). Until then there is her music :).

Maddy Rodriguez – Next To You (Cover)

My friend, singer-songwriter and musician, Maddy Rodriguez (you may recognize her from MuchMusic’s show “Disband”) did an awesome cover on Chris Brown and Justin Bieber’s track “Next To You”. She has to be one of the most talented young musicians I have heard in a long time and I’m proud to be able to share her talents with the world. Be sure to check out more of her music on Youtube.
