While Usher never really left the top of the music scene, he’s lately had trouble making those tracks that you’re going to remember in years to come like he had earlier in his career. Does anybody remember O.M.G., Love In The Club, or “DJ Got Us Fallin’ in Love? But I can guarantee you know every single word to You Make Me Wanna, U Remind Me and You Got It Bad. While that seems to be a continual issue that has come forth as he’s grown he’s still been able to make tracks that are of the moment hits. Whether Dive will continue that trend it remains to be seen, as it’s not as pop friendly as some other releases, but if anyone can do it it’s Usher.
FUERZA BRUTA: LOOK UP is a non-stop collision of dynamic music, visceral emotion, and kinetic aerial imagery.
Featuring mind – blowing visual effects that must be seen to be believed – a man running full throttle through a series of moving walls, women frolicking in a watery world suspended just inches above the audience – FUERZA BRUTA: LOOK UP is a theatrical experience that floods the senses. Come experience a 360° heart-pounding theatrical experience!
Usher was at FUERZA BRUTA NYC to preform 2 shows as the Running Man, during which the video for Scream was filmed. Without looking up what FUERZA BRUTA was, I would have had no clue what this video was really outside of a video of Usher running, and some random water aquabatics scenes. It’s a pretty unique and artistic twist for the eventual club banger.
After the success of Climax, I’m surprised Usher didn’t try to stick with that sound for a little. Instead, Usher’s latest single goes back to higher tempo OMG/Ne-Yo club RnB sound. It’ll get club plays but I’m sure it won’t get nearly the playtime of Climax which is an absolute banger. Both tracks are off, Usher’s upcoming album Looking For Myself which drops June 12th.
Usher‘s Climax is another one of those tracks that every producer wants to remix. Fools Gold DJ/production duo Flosstradamus teamed up with the Mad Decent DJ/Producer Diplo to remix this track. With Diplo on board the remix sounds fairly similar to the original, with an extra kick serviced by the 808s that have been put on the track.
Usher‘s Climax has been hitting every girl’s playlist over the past little while so it’s no surprise to see a huge house DJ/producer like Kaskade take the Diplo produced track and make it his own. Warming up the track at the beginning with his signature Big House sound, Kaskade keeps the tempo of the song as he works high tempo dance sections into a track that can be played at any club at any time and get everyone dancing.
Usher’s latest single, with electronic super-producer Diplo, drops it’s video, which, like any Usher video is filled with plenty of beautiful women.
If you’ve been following the blog for a while you know I’m an AVID Keys N Krates fan, having seen them 3 times in the past year and a half. Yesterday, they decided to let loose one of the new remixes they’ve been working on. A big room trap version of Usher & Diplo’s most recent single Climax. The track is definitely something that can keep you going throughout the day. It gives you that little bit of extra energy your day might be needing.
Joe Budden decided to drop a verse over the latest from Usher & Diplo.
