Tona drops his latest video off his mixtape Reform School. With production from Toronto’s own, Rich Kidd, and Kardinal Offishall giving a verse the track definitely pops. The video however shows a different side of things that’s very prevalent in all forms of media. While trying to give the appearance of being out in Vancouver, British Columbia (via the skyline and license plates) a key image was overlooked. During the video there is a point where whoever edited the video overlooked a storefront that had their phone number on it, with a giant 416 area code (Toronto, Ontario). If you’re trying to give the impression of being in a completely different part of the world, it’s key to make sure ALL possible connections to the area filmed are removed.
